The Facts of Life in America.

Kids:

I need to talk with you about something. No, nothing’s wrong with me. It’s just, parentsas your father, it’s my responsibility to prepare you for life. No, this has nothing to do with sex! It’s about my legacy for you; what I hope to leave behind.

And why I’ve seemed so sad lately.

I feel rotten telling you this, but you know how I’ve always told you to be grateful you live in a free country? And that either one of you could grow up to be president?

Well, kids, that was a lie. It’s just not true.

The truth is we live in an oligarchy, controlled and managed by politicians and fully-paid-for by our country’s corporate masters. Not only are our political leaders for sale, but our elections are a sham.

That means they’re a joke. A farce. A hoax!

This is all my generation’s fault. We were too smug and self-satisfied with our electronic toys, 24-hour online shopping and NFL Sundays to question the foundation and fabric of our republic. Even when we witnessed George W. Bush stealing the presidency, we hoped it was merely an anomaly, something that would never be repeated, especially with the entire country now on notice.

Kids, I wasn’t just wrong, I was dangerously wrong!

As sure as I’m sitting here now, Hillary Clinton stole the Democratic nomination this year; her preamble to stealing the general election, I’m sure. She only lost to Donald Trump because he either out-cheated her, or she was so unpopular she could never have stolen enough votes.

I know you haven’t heard a word about this in the newspapers or on TV. That’s because—as crazy as it sounds—the media, the federal government and the Democratic Party all conspired to ensure Hillary Clinton won the Democratic nomination. And that conspiracy extended to the general election as well, but turned out to be insufficient, given how crooked and disliked Hillary Clinton was.

Was Obama in on it? He must have been. If he wasn’t, then somebody needs to take a close look at Loretta Lynch and James Comey, both of whom seemed to have lost their inner moral compass in confronting Hillary’s many crimes.

What crimes? Being totally careless in protecting our nation’s secrets. Destroying evidence. Obstructing justice. And then there’s her famous Pay-To-Play stint at the State Department. Nothing of much interest to those who swore to protect and enforce our system of justice.

We may never know who won the Democratic nomination, but it’s starting to seem like Bernie Sanders, a Jewish Socialist from Vermont might have been the actual winner. And probably could have beaten Trump. Then again, anybody but Vladamir Putin or Hillary Clinton could have beaten Trump.

Hillary was so unpopular she couldn’t draw a crowd large enough to fill a high school gymnasium. The few that did show up were probably paid for their attendance. Just like the actors shipped in to fill the empty seats at the Philadelphia convention after Bernie’s delegates walked out. Yet another bit of news never mentioned by CNN or the rest of the media.

I know, I know. It’s totally unbelievable, which is exactly what the conspirators counted on. I could show you the deviation in exit polling in the different state primaries, which absolutely proves election fraud, but you probably wouldn’t understand it. Nor would you understand why nobody—not the national press or the United States government—or any of Hillary’s supporters, for that matter—seemed to give a damn.

It was actually quite comical—if anything was humorous in this depressing political season—when even the most prestigious newspapers like The New York Times ignored the facts in their attempt to explain why Bernie Sanders’ supporters would never vote for Hillary; even in the face of a Trump presidency. Obviously, the press couldn’t mention the election fraud they had purposely ignored. In only reporting news that would help Hillary, they had abandoned their journalistic integrity.

The missing ingredient in their news stories was the fact that Bernie Sanders’ supporters were outraged at having their votes stolen and suppressed. They could mention our anger, but not the reason for that anger. Even though they knew damn well why we were so angry.

I know, kids, this isn’t easy. I’d rather be talking about the birds and the bees than tell you our democracy has been stolen and America is now owned, lock, stock and barrel by a group of billionaires who couldn’t care less about your welfare.

And so, kids, your father will go to his final resting place unhappily leaving behind an America far diminished in its Democratic ideals and shared economic opportunity. When I was your age, America was a wonderful place where we cherished the notion any child could grow up to be president through diligent effort and hard work.

Today it seems like the game is totally rigged and everyone has to play along to move up the political ladder. Crooked politicians have become the norm; deceit, self-interest and greed now rule where integrity, compassion and generosity once held sway.

Okay, that’s all I have to say about that. But while I have your attention, there’s something else I need to talk about.

Let me start by asking if either of you know what foreplay is…?

Have You Had This Talk With Your Children Yet?

True, there were primary contests still to run, a Republican challenger yet to be chosen, and a general election yet to be held, but still it had been decided—by whomever is behind the curtain making these decisions—that Hillary Clinton would be the next president of the United States.

And nothing said or done by Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump could alter that fact.

Dear Democratic Party: I am the alienated child who once sat at your family table. After 70 years of living on this Earth I can honestly say I have always voted Democratic in our national elections.

All that has changed.

i-thinkIt changed the day I realized Hillary Clinton and Debbie Wasserman Schultz had not only tipped the scales in favor of Hillary’s campaign, but were actually taking an odorous dump on the Constitution by interfering with my guaranteed right to vote for whomever I wish. That was a giant “F@#k You!” to me and to all the Democrats and Independents who chose to vote for someone other than Hillary in your rigged Democratic primaries.

No small matter, to invalidate the Constitutional rights of 13-15 million voters who, like me, voted—or tried to vote—for Bernie Sanders and later discovered their votes were suppressed, flipped, thrown out, shredded or never recorded.

By rigging the primaries you chose to turn on your own party members, like a rabid animal who bites its masters. So, to repay you in kind I’ve decided I will never vote for a Democrat running for national office until someone acknowledges the DNC’s criminal assault on our democracy and—god damn it!—finally APOLOGIZES!

And no more of that pretend apology crap from Donna Brazile!

The election fraud was an assault on your own party members, as well as voteindependent voters, who mistakenly thought your primaries and caucuses were run fairly. This was an abrogation of the fundamental reason you exist! It was also a criminal action which, if nothing else, proved handily that Hillary Clinton was never worthy of the position to which she aspired.

Believe me, I took careful note of your infamy. And then, one morning, the moment of truth arrived. With great satisfaction, as an early voting voter, I happily filled in the oval for the only candidates whose political leanings, policies, governing philosophy and humanitarian outlook most closely mirrored that of Bernie Sanders.

Not surprisingly, Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka were also the only candidates in the presidential race who stood up for the Standing Rock tribe in their ongoing human rights struggle. A struggle that pits Big Oil’s hunger for profit against The People’s right to protect their water supply.

The least I could do was stand up for those who stood up for my fellow Americans. So I voted Green. Not that it made much difference, I suspect, but  hopefully my vote helped the Green Party in its long journey to become a viable political party. What better way to break free of the current duopoly that now controls our country than to elevate the Green Party to join the national slugfest?

There’s a Democratic President now (circa October 2016) in the White House who has turned his back on Standing Rock and the promises he made years ago to America’s indigenous population. He has left these non-violent, native-American protesters to be beaten by militarized police, shot with rubber bullets, attacked by dogs, violently arrested and, ironically, charged with trespassing on the same barren land earlier generations forced them to inhabit many years ago.

I voted twice for this Democratic president. But lately I find him unrecognizable from the man I voted for. The man I voted for wouldn’t be pushing the TPP trade deal, wouldn’t be signing the Monsanto Protection Act and, especially, wouldn’t be treating the Standing Rock Sioux as if they didn’t exist. The man I voted for would have stopped the political party he supposedly leads from cheating. And he would have never have had the audacity or bad judgement to endorse Hillary Clinton while she was still under FBI investigation.

Or so I thought.

If I could take back my votes for Barack Obama I would, but the most I can do now is make sure those are the last votes ANY national Democratic candidate gets from me.

Am I speaking clearly enough to be heard in Washington? I doubt it.

The Democratic Party has corrupted and destroyed their brand (see my essay “Brand Suicide”) but you can bet they’ll come back asking for my vote.

Sorry, guys, I’m not that stupid.

And definitely not that forgiving.

HILLARY CLINTON INDICTED FOR STEALING DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION

Could Votergate Be Her Undoing?

fbiraidBrooklyn, NY — Federal agents stormed into Hillary Clinton’s campaign headquarters yesterday armed with search warrants and began removing boxes of files and campaign computers. At the same time papers were served at the Clinton mansion in Chappaqua, NY, accusing Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee and various state Democratic parties with conspiracy to commit fraud in numerous Democratic primaries and caucuses running from the beginning of February, 2016 to the final days of the contest in June; in a multi-pronged conspiracy now known as “Votergate.”    

In short, the indictment charges the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee with a host of fraudulent acts including: the systematic purging of Sanders supporters from state voter lists; the switching of party registrations to disqualify Sanders supporters from voting in Democratic primaries; the hacking of electronic voting machines to alter voting results; and the purposeful destruction of Sanders voters’ ballots;.

After months of inaction in the face of thousands of complaints and a national media blackout that never allowed a single word of Hillary’s alleged election crimes to see the light of day, James Comey, FBI Director, apparently decided to initiate a comprehensive FBI investigation of Clinton’s controversial primary election victories. Comey, fighting to restore his reputation after the Obama Administration failed to indict Hillary Clinton for her flagrant carelessness in the handling of the country’s top secrets, refused to comment on why his agency delayed investigating what has been described as “the most flagrant election fraud conspiracy since the days of Tammany Hall.” Tammany Hall referring to a notoriously corrupt Democratic machine that was the most powerful political power broker in New York State in the early 1800’s.

Comey refused to comment for this story, but an unnamed source within the federal government told The Truthful Times, “The Director is a real straight shooter and couldn’t live with himself after being forced by his superiors to serve as the administration’s Colin Powell in explaining the government’s non-indictment of Hillary Clinton for her gross negligence in handling state secrets.” Today’s FBI action has been on the table since supporters of Bernie Sanders first began complaining of systematic election fraud going back to the Iowa Caucus, where video footage showed Clinton delegates clearly under-counting Sanders delegates while inflating their own numbers.

The FBI’s surprise investigation and resulting indictment raises many questions about the alleged months-long election fraud conspiracy. First and foremost, as many political commentators have already begun asking, “What did President Obama know about the conspiracy? And when did he know it?” Also, what role did the president play in protecting Hillary and the DNC from any government response to their alleged crimes? Additional questions arose when it was discovered the president, using an alias, had communicated with Secretary Clinton a number of times on her unsecured server. The actual alias used by the president has not been released for reasons of state security.

Vote “JILLARY” Not Hillary!

 

jillSome months ago, I wrote to JILL STEIN suggesting she consider calling herself “The Anti-Hillary, or Jillary.” Aside from giving her a memorable theme, the tag essentially pointed out Jill’s strength in running against the self-anointed Democratic candidate, mainly that Jill wasn’t anything like Hillary in any way! If anything, Jill stood 180 degrees opposite whatever Hillary, or Trump for that matter, professed on almost every single issue.

Close to 70% of Americans distrust Hillary; wouldn’t believe her stance on anything, even if it was sworn to in public, or in front of a notary public. No matter what Hillary now says she feels about the TPP, everyone knows she will sign it as president.

Jill Stein won’t sign the TPP; nor will she drag us into war unnecessarily, or pick a fight with Russia to divert attention from another symptomatic sign of her systemic corruption. Jill Stein has her own battles to fight; priorities not even mentioned in the three debates: eliminating student debt; establishing true universal healthcare; reducing military spending; increasing the minimum wage; expanding social security; reducing global warming; and so much more. All issues Bernie fought for.

And don’t believe what the mainstream media says about Jill’s polling numbers. The polls are constructed, by a biased media, to create or maintain Hillary’s momentum going into the election, or to throw obstacles in front of her competition. Jill Stein might not win the election, but she is doing far better than the polls allow. A vote for Jill is also a vote for the Green Party, helping to validate and support its life- and planet-affirming policies and hopefully helping to break the strangle hold of the pigs–at-the-trough two-party political system.

A vote for Jill is a vote for three things totally lacking from the other candidates: honesty, integrity, and urgency. That last characteristic, urgency, relating to the increasing concern all candidates should feel as time slips away and global warming continues to advance, everyday becoming a greater threat to our planet and to our everyday lives.

A vote for Jill is a vote for everything Bernie stood for—and less! No more corruption; lies; scandals; boorishness; hidden agendas or personal enrichment at taxpayer’s expense!

Less of what Hillary wants for herself and more of what you need to live a safe, secure and comfortable life.

Less Hillary and more Jillary!
