#Damnexit!*

Dear Democratic Party: I am the alienated child who once sat at your family table. After 70 years of living on this Earth I can honestly say I have always voted Democratic in our national elections.

All that has changed.

i-thinkIt changed the day I realized Hillary Clinton and Debbie Wasserman Schultz had not only tipped the scales in favor of Hillary’s campaign, but were actually taking an odorous dump on the Constitution by interfering with my guaranteed right to vote for whomever I wish. That was a giant “F@#k You!” to me and to all the Democrats and Independents who chose to vote for someone other than Hillary in your rigged Democratic primaries.

No small matter, to invalidate the Constitutional rights of 13-15 million voters who, like me, voted—or tried to vote—for Bernie Sanders and later discovered their votes were suppressed, flipped, thrown out, shredded or never recorded.

By rigging the primaries you chose to turn on your own party members, like a rabid animal who bites its masters. So, to repay you in kind I’ve decided I will never vote for a Democrat running for national office until someone acknowledges the DNC’s criminal assault on our democracy and—god damn it!—finally APOLOGIZES!

And no more of that pretend apology crap from Donna Brazile!

The election fraud was an assault on your own party members, as well as voteindependent voters, who mistakenly thought your primaries and caucuses were run fairly. This was an abrogation of the fundamental reason you exist! It was also a criminal action which, if nothing else, proved handily that Hillary Clinton was never worthy of the position to which she aspired.

Believe me, I took careful note of your infamy. And then, one morning, the moment of truth arrived. With great satisfaction, as an early voting voter, I happily filled in the oval for the only candidates whose political leanings, policies, governing philosophy and humanitarian outlook most closely mirrored that of Bernie Sanders.

Not surprisingly, Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka were also the only candidates in the presidential race who stood up for the Standing Rock tribe in their ongoing human rights struggle. A struggle that pits Big Oil’s hunger for profit against The People’s right to protect their water supply.

The least I could do was stand up for those who stood up for my fellow Americans. So I voted Green. Not that it made much difference, I suspect, but  hopefully my vote helped the Green Party in its long journey to become a viable political party. What better way to break free of the current duopoly that now controls our country than to elevate the Green Party to join the national slugfest?

There’s a Democratic President now (circa October 2016) in the White House who has turned his back on Standing Rock and the promises he made years ago to America’s indigenous population. He has left these non-violent, native-American protesters to be beaten by militarized police, shot with rubber bullets, attacked by dogs, violently arrested and, ironically, charged with trespassing on the same barren land earlier generations forced them to inhabit many years ago.

I voted twice for this Democratic president. But lately I find him unrecognizable from the man I voted for. The man I voted for wouldn’t be pushing the TPP trade deal, wouldn’t be signing the Monsanto Protection Act and, especially, wouldn’t be treating the Standing Rock Sioux as if they didn’t exist. The man I voted for would have stopped the political party he supposedly leads from cheating. And he would have never have had the audacity or bad judgement to endorse Hillary Clinton while she was still under FBI investigation.

Or so I thought.

If I could take back my votes for Barack Obama I would, but the most I can do now is make sure those are the last votes ANY national Democratic candidate gets from me.

Am I speaking clearly enough to be heard in Washington? I doubt it.

The Democratic Party has corrupted and destroyed their brand (see my essay “Brand Suicide”) but you can bet they’ll come back asking for my vote.

Sorry, guys, I’m not that stupid.

And definitely not that forgiving.

What Did Obama Know And When Did He know It?

Anyone with eyes to see and half a brain to think knows Hillary Clinton stole the Democratic nomination from Bernie Sanders.

obamaShould you be one of the millions who get their news from the Mainstream Media-ocrity, you probably need to read this report from Election Justice USA laying out the many ways in which Hillary and the DNC violated the US Constitution by trampling on the voting rights of millions of Sanders supporters—both those who voted for him and those who tried.

There are millions of us who don’t need to be convinced. We’ve seen Sanders’ votes stolen, flipped, deleted, shredded and ignored in primary after primary. We’ve seen final election results manipulated in Hillary’s favor on TV; in one case we watched as Hillary was declared winner of a primary where only 1% of the votes had been counted.

The leaked DNC emails were only the tip of the iceberg; 90% of Hillary’s election fraud consisted of illegally denying Bernie Sanders the votes he should have won: the hacking of electronic voting machines; the purging of voter lists; the switching of voters’ party registrations; the handing out of provisional ballots to Sanders supporters that would never be counted. The list goes on and on.

What’s probably most shocking about this clumsily managed strangulation of our constitutionally-guaranteed right to vote, is the fact our government did nothing about it. Did nothing to protect our rights even after it became obvious they were being violated. Everywhere you looked there were people shouting ‘foul!’; people petitioning Obama to step in and stop this criminal enterprise; people angrily protesting obvious and rampant voter suppression, people waiting for their government to do its job.

Meanwhile what did we see? We saw Hillary Clinton and her aides handed a golden “Get Out of Jail Free” card by the Justice Department and the FBI. We saw the FBI Director proclaim Hillary’s innocence in setting up a private server and exposing national secrets because there was no proof of intention. Even in light of Hillary deliberately deleting those emails after she’d been told to secure them, and having her aides smash her Blackberry phones to bits with hammers.

Which to my mind sounds suspiciously like destroying evidence and obstructing justice.

And what else did we see while Hillary was supposedly still being investigated by the FBI? We saw Barack Obama, the nation’s 44th president, endorse Hillary Clinton’s candidacy for the presidency.

And speaking of Obama, a man for whom I voted twice and once held in high esteem, why didn’t he step in? As the titular head of the Democratic Party, and a president who endorsed and campaigned for Debbie Wasserman Schultz, he had to have known what was happening. I personally signed two petitions sent to the White House. There were enough of the usual indicators, for example exit poll deviations that ran as high as 23% in one primary, and enough citizen unrest and online chatter that I find it highly unlikely Obama knew nothing about Hillary’s pervasive and blatant election fraud.

And so the question naturally arises, “What did Obama know and when did he know it?” Especially in light of all the bending-over-backwards our government did to declare Hillary innocent of crimes that many of us find shockingly obvious and riddled with intention.

Clearly, the fix was on for Hillary. I hesitate to speculate why Obama would risk his legacy and possible impeachment by eliminating all legal obstacles that stood between Hillary and the Oval Office.

But remember, Obama twice placed his hand on a bible and swore to protect and defend the constitution.

In failing to protect and defend America’s electoral system and the voting rights of millions of Americans, Barack Obama failed all of us. And committed by his inaction, in the face of obvious criminal acts, his own personal criminal act.

One that could place his name after Bill Clinton’s in the annals of American presidential history.

THE AUDACITY OF AUDACITY

The Stealing Of The American Presidency 2016

hillThere was a movie late in James Cagney’s career called “Never Steal Anything Small.” I don’t remember the plot but the underlying message of the film was underscored in its title. These days I find myself marveling at the audacity it must take to steal something as huge and under such constant scrutiny as the Presidency of the United States.

That theft, of course, even though we are less than three months away from the general election, has already been planned and executed and only requires a few finishing touches on election day to actually put the Gonif (Yiddish for ‘thief’) into the White House next January. Because, if you know Hillary and Bill Clinton at all, you know they wouldn’t go to all the trouble of stealing the Democratic nomination in front of the entire country without having worked out the second half of the heist. Count on it, the concluding chapter of “The Theft of American Democracy 2016” is already in play.

Stealing the Democratic nomination was more than a singular act of political piracy, it was a practice run for the big event itself. And now they know IT WORKS! If they can steal the nomination from Bernie, they can easily steal the presidency from a dunce like Trump. The equipment is in place, the systems have been fine tuned, the accomplices have already proven their mettle, the news media has already shown it can ignore something as monumental as a coup d’etat without breaking a sweat; and none of our political, moral or religious leaders seem bothered enough to raise the issue from whatever platform they occupy.

Talk about a lazy, half-asleep, overfed, doped up and under-vigilant citizenry!

I guess we should just be thankful the Clintons didn’t also steal our shoes or wallets while they hijacked the Democratic nomination!

And speaking of the news media ignoring news…did anyone notice the adroitness with which Jake Tapper pulled the CNN cameras away from covering the massive delegate walkout at the Democratic Convention—real news that had accidentally been caught by CNN’s camera crew—to hastily switch back inside the convention where Boys II Men were singing oldies on the convention stage. Good work, Jake, you almost let a sliver of real news—news not authorized by the DNC or your corporate masters—escape to inform and educate your audience!

And who noticed that President Obama gave Hillary his endorsement while she was still under investigation by the FBI? Phew, that could have been embarrassing! Good thing the FBI finally concluded Hillary’s email imbroglio didn’t warrant an indictment. Otherwise, Obama might have looked foolish, if not complicit in her crimes.

I wonder if that was something Bill Clinton brought up in his 30-minute conversation with Attorney General Loretta Lynch? The conversation that would have been cloaked in secrecy had a reporter not seen Bill Cllnton going into the AG’s private plane on the airport tarmac in Phoenix?

The story gets more sordid the deeper you dig. But the audacity never diminishes. Yes, this is the Clinton Machine at its finest. Awash in dough, eyes on the prize, devoid of compunction or conscience, well staffed with sycophants, hirelings, henchmen; unstoppable with a complicit national political party and a DNC Chairwoman in its pocket. Not just “Stronger Together,” as Hillary’s latest theme announces, but also “CORRUPTER TOGETHER,” corrupting American Democracy, America’s Mainstream Media-ocrity, the upper echelons of the American government and an entire subsection of the American population to achieve its selfish, narcissistic ends.

Such is the state of democracy in the 21st Century!

Such is the audacity of audacity!
